The Prince Consort Rooms at the HAC offer one of the City’s most spectacular locations for a christmas party. The HAC itself is quite unlike any other venue; a magnificent Georgian house set in a six acre garden located just a couple of
minutes walk from Moorgate. The Prince Consort Rooms are a stylish and contemporary juxtaposition to the old Georgian building. This christmas we invite you to step back into that most glamorous, glitzy, razzle-dazzle of times: the fabulous roaring twenties. A time of rag-time jazz and the Cotton Club, prohibition, silent films, the Charleston, flapper girls, colour,
excitement and, above all, fun.
Guests will start the evening in our stylish black and white “speakeasy” where prohibition will be in full swing with bartenders serving Manhattan cocktails from tea cups to disguise the alcohol. At the appointed time, the huge oak doors will slide back with a flourish to reveal the stunning “Cotton Club” dining area. Here sparkling table centres, hundreds of candles and stunning lighting will combine to create a spectacular riot of colour brimming with party atmosphere. After
dinner the DJ will start up back in the speakeasy and guests can dance the night away to a mix of the latest sounds and old dance floor favourites.
As spectacular as this setting will be, we understand the need for flexibility. The lighting effects can be easily adapted to remove the “theme” and simply offer a stylish, classic backdrop for any event. Likewise, if you needed to add a
conference element during the day in order to maximise the return from the event, this too is achievable.
Our package prices depend on the number of guests, style of menu and whether it is a limited or all inclusive drinks package. They start from £75 + VAT per person for a stand up buffet party for 700+ people
